mum not well help ( weaning )

Last night India was sick so i didn;t give her any more to eat this morning she as quite soft runnyish poo .....i gave her a nice bath cos she was coverd in sick and she ate a whole chicken breast

now the pups are partly weaned and she has shown no interested today in feeding them she is wrapped up in a blanket on the sofa looking very sorry for herself I would imagine she has a sore tummy ...the vets dosen't seem concerned at this point as she has no temperature

now question is if she has a bug will she pass it on to the pups in her milk if i put her in the pen ?

i just feel taking her right away from them seems a bit cruel

Sorry India is unwell she is probably shattered and in need of a bit of time out ! She has done so well up to now, and I would have thought if she had something she could pass it onto the pups. Keep us posted and hopefully she will be back to normal in 24hrs x

The pups I think are 3.1/2 - 4 weeks old, maybe mum is just feeling exhausted, this is the time where it really takes it out of poor mum, plus all that cleaning up......I know Poppy was sick a few times and yes it was mainly poo from the pups......yuck, yuck, yuck!

thanks for the replies I am not sure why i have posted in the section ..perhaps i am having a bad day

been to the vets and she thinks it might be sheer exhaustion from being a good mum her and her glands were up again so have some antibiotics to give her its an on going thing and when the pups are weaned she is having them removed thats already been discussed .....

just TLC and cooked chicken today just what the vet orderd
