Golden Oldies Any Breed

Thought we could do a thread on Golden oldies.
This is Tiger, 16.5 yrs young and is a cantankarous old b*****d. My friend has taken him on not knowing what he was like. Everybody that meets Tiger just thinks he's adorable. If you're on the sofa and he wants to lie down on it he'll just lie over you he is so funny. He'll go out if and when he wants to. He has the staffie look down to a tee he'll give you the look and you melt. He hasn't been neutered for health reasons but if there's a girl around he parades in front of her and he gets a new lease of life.

Hi all

This is a picture of my Springer Jake taken about two days after we got our German Shorthaired Pointer pup Murphy, Jake was 16 then and he took to the puppy so well, he really helped Murphy settle in.

The photo was taken about 2 1/2 years ago, and sadly 2 years ago we had Jake put to sleep, old age basically, his back legs went quite quickly, but he was fit and healthly right up until the end almost , and it is so good to have the pictures of him with Murphy.

BTW he was allergic to meat protein and we fed him rice, pasta and veggies for most of his life!!
