Sickness in pregnancy

hay,
well i have been ill all over christmas and new year I thought it was just a cold, but on new years eve i rang the on call doc who discussed putting me on tamiflu but she thought it would just make me more ill. so she said sit it out.

Well now im still feeling sick and yesterday couldnt keep anything down. And dont know if its flu or baby making me sick. But im worried about not being able keep fluids down. How long do I leave it before getting in touch with the doctor. I dont normally go to the doctors at the drop of a hat but I dont want to turn into parnoid 1st time mums lol. Im having headachs and dizzness, feeling faint and exhauted to the point i can sleep 12 hours plus.

i agree, it could just be morning sickness but sometimes morning sickness can get a bit OTT and as you say, its important to stay hydrated. Call up your midwife first thing and get to see a doc - good luck x

if you are not even able to keep fluids down then you should definetly see Doctor, you can get a really bad morning sickness in pregnancy whose name escapes me, but basically can totally wipe you out, my friend had it and ended up on hospital on drip so you should get it checked.

Hope you feel better very soon xxxx

I agree with the other, if you can't keep fluids down, please get yourself checked out.

Hope you feel better soon x
