Luna, female Staffie X, DOB 2005 – Godstone, Surrey
Luna, Staffie X, DOB 2005 – Godstone, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Luna needs a stable family home as an only pet. Our assessment is that she can be left without event for short periods. Luna would appreciate a close family home with secure garden and exit management to avoid inadvertently getting through gates and doors, though she is not an 'escaper'. Not for boisterous children but dog savvy children yes. Luna needs out from kennel life!
Her Story: Luna found herself in a Northern pound unclaimed and we came forwards to save her. She is shy by nature. Luna is neutered, chipped and vax'd. Luna is currently in boarding kennels near Godstone, Surrey.
Advert: To meet Luna swells the heart. She has a sadness in kennels which is beginning to lift as she meets many friends. She is nonplus ref dogs as she passes down the kennel corridor. She walks along side other dogs but probably wouldn't want an off lead dog bouncing over. She seems quite self contained and could be left for short periods. She travels in the car as a passenger. Gently loving, not over affectionate. Was muzzled in the vets and she became very subservient.
Luna is around 6-7 years old, a Staffie X with a calm and easy air. She came already spayed but our vet needed to make a better job of it. She isn't a bouncy dog, she will shy away from strangers who are intrusive but soon comes around. Will grumble if she is concerned i.e. handled too fast but she co-operates in her shyness. Luna is going to be cherished by her new family...just a question of finding them!
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
