Thanks for the reply. I think she'll be ok on one area of the grass. We were told foxes and rats spread the same disease. Is this true?

I think the breeder's just covering their selves 'just incase'. I started to take her out for the first time this morning and she finds it much more natural to go on the grass, a quick play and then back inside to her pen.

Professor Nicholas Dodman reiterated that more dogs die due to behavioural issues than ALL other diseases put together.

i dont know how accurate but read recently more dogs are put to sleep under the age of 2 for behavioural issues, than any other reason.

I honestly never felt comfortable taking my dog on a walk. If my puppy got sick I would regret it so much and I would feel terrible. If is a personal decision and it all depends on your comfort level. I only took my dog outside in the backyard but nothing else till his vaccinations.
