Lilly - 6 year old female Spanish Collie

Lilly, Spanish Collie, DOB 11.06.05 – Gatwick, Surrey

Homing Requirements: Lilly needs a family who are appreciative of her raconteur with dogs, in her boldness and cheeky character. She has lived the freer life in rural Spain mixing with off lead dogs and having a less 'tamed/ trimmed' lifestyle than ‘Rule Britannica’. She can herd; nudging and nipping ankles with no malice or harm given.

Her Story: Lilly was taken in as a 3 week old pup in Spain; one of a large litter due to be 'drowned' the next morn. She joined a Chocolate Labrador and managed the Spanish hot days and the cool nights. She lived the village life off lead often loose to roam with other dogs. Her owners came back to England and could not find accommodation to take a dog, so thought they may manage just to add her in, but neighbours, sweet neighbours, within 2 weeks have reported them and she needed to leave. Now in emergency boarding kennels. Spayed, 1st vax'd and chipped.

Advert: Little Lilly is bilingual and speaks fluent English and Spanish. She has just arrived into English “restrained and contained” culture of dog ownership and is feeling her way. She is getting used to wearing a collar and being on a lead. Dogs seem a little too human but she is getting by and settling. Lilly has always lived with other dogs. She is housetrained and has good recall and when she isn't meeting and greeting she is announcing her presence to new dogs in the field.

Lilly is so tiny and pretty with Red brown thick collie coat. She has long locks, like Goldie locks and sparkling Spanish Eyes. Are they are smiling “Oh yes!” “Ol Lillyah!”. She can dance and is a natural entertainer. She is highly adaptable so don't under-estimate her. Lilly is a charismatic, powerful tiny lady, who will cast her new owners under her spell in a trice; in fact at a click of her paws!

"Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found"
