Just walked Amber on the green, not so nice now. In fact it has turned quite dark and miserable. I am going to have a siesta I think. Hope everyone is well. God bless.

It doesn't usually take mine that long to charge, so very strange.
Nite Moyra, shame about the nap, I've had a lovely one, must be the baptising of my lower half in the river that did it
Youngest son rang and he's looking at some premises he fancies on Friday as is coming to see me later on, depending on the viewing as he says no one is replying to his enquiry at the moment. He was telling me it is a nightmare getting commercial letting agents to not only contact you but to arrange a viewing, how amazing is that eh, you'd think they'd be falling over themselves to get business.

I just sort of sank up to my thighs in it and then gave Lona a telling off for not giving me her ball when I asked her to and chucking it in the water. I usually fall flat on my face, so getting better if I'm just sinking
Supervet now

That's good, I think you're right the warmer weather will help. Had a look at B&M site, found the arches, but when I went to meusure up it seems they are too big might be able to get them in but means more work. Not sure what to do now but might just do a tempory repair on the exisiting metal thing and something more permanent in the Autumn.

June sorry you have had problems with your laptop and PC and whatever. Since MS downloaded Windows 10 without reference to me I've found I can't download pictures from my camera which is annoying to say the least.

Griff, hope you find all the toys in the garden. If they are like ours they will be well hidden

TW agree about that zoo. What can you do Some of the places in Africa are worse, said to be a Safari experience and in reality a rip off. Thousands of tourists go there and it's like taking candy of a baby.

I took Casey back to the vets on Monday for three things, first to check on his leg which seems to be slowly improving, they did an Xray and withdrew a small amount of fluid from the joint. They also did another ultrasonic heart scan, and the results were very similar to last November so we will slightly reduce the Cardisure medication, if th eresults are still good in six months we may be able to take him off the medication completely. He also had his ears checked and cleaned.

The vet did mentiion the 'C' word (Cruciate something) I've seen it mentioned on Dogsey so I will now have to read up on it. He thought it was very mild but pointed out that the larger breeds are prone to problems.

Going to write to the club welfare lady tonight to keep her up to date. She hasn't asked for reports but I feel it's only right to keep her in the picture since she devouts almost all her time to trying to find good homes for the rescue dogs and she inevitably gets messed around by some of the humans who contact her.

I managed to find all the toys Harvey..luckily
I guess that is good news about Casey's heart, is it the cranial cruciate ligament Harvey? That is the one that runs from the front of the tibia up to the rear of the femur I think, both of my old dogs had their cruciates done, Laney managed to do the cranial and caudal ligament and cartlidge in one leg...he had the banding op and was o.k although I never lket him run free off lead after that. Diez had a tplo done and she was brilliant, had an excellent recovery

I'm not sure Sis, he was talking so fast I couldn't take it all in but he did say it was very minor and didn't mention anything about operations at this stage. Also we are not sure about Caseys age, I found out recently that he first went to a general rescue shelter in South Wales and it was only after six months that they contacted the club welfare people. He is not 'old' in the sense that he still has plenty of energy but as you said it is something that older larger dogs might get. Is the 'banding op' very complicated, I assume that they must not run around when they have it done.

Glad to hear Casey's heart problems are diminishing because it's such a shame a lovely dog like him is on meds already, and perhaps the superior food and regular exercise will help any problems he has in the skeletal department.
Quiet night with the girls, found Cariad and Zen out, so escorted them back in between the end of Supervet and Scott and Bailey, checked about 10pm and Mabs and Zen were out, so sent them in, checked before I went for a soak and all quiet and everyone asleep, I hope
Been a lovely day and they were out with their dinosaur bones which was their tea tonight, just lying there munching away, till gone 8pm, made such a change from the constant rain, wind, hail etc
