We used to show ~ although it was 'Lightly' and retired after we decided to nip bums as we ran around the ring and wasn't phased at doing it in front of one of the Breed Top Judges But here's my boy after literally falling in a dam in the process of chasing ducks
So No ... it nigh on impossible to keep a show dog in pristine conditon all the time and besides ... who'd want to anyway?

lol. my theory is, a bit of mud and stuff is good for the coat...
