Cassie's had a bit of a seizure (updated: another seizure post #60]

OH just phoned me at work to say that Cassie had some kind of fit/seizure about an hour ago. She was just asleep in her basket and he was just getting out of the shower. Her heard her tags rattling and thought she was playing but when he got downstairs she was fitting and foaming at the mouth in her basket.
He didn't want to worry me so waited until now to tell me. He has an appointment at the vet with her at 3 and says she's absolutely fine now although very tired and cuddly. He said she was in quite a bit of distress at the time and felt like it went on forever but probably only lasted about a minute.
I hope it was just a one off. She's never had anything like this before. I'm so worried about her. Will let you know what happens when he's back from the vet

I hope it is a one off - could be the hot weather perhaps? I once had a GSD who had one big seizure - then never had another. Fingers crossed for you.

That's what I'm hoping. It is really hot here today. She'd been back from her walk for ages though as they went early and it didn't happen til lunchtime. Hope she's ok. Thanks xx
