How scary for you and I am sorry the trip to the vets wasn't clear cut for you but hopefully the meds will help and she will start eating soon and you will have many more months together.
Sending lots of gentle hugs xx

She's stopped eating now! I think it could just be a matter of days before we have to do the right thing for her You never know though eh?! She could make a miraculous recovery ....
Em I am sorry the news wasn't better. We can but hope the medication helps though failure to eat is worrying..

I'm sorry to hear this. Everything crossed here that the meds will pick her up and that her appetite returns.

Thanks guys.
Got home for lunch and she hasn't touched her breakfast, but has been a little sick (i think it's the little bit of supper she ate last night)
She's curled up on the chair watching the tennis.
Bless her she looks so tired

Oh bless her little heart. I hope she perks up a bit later and wants her dinner by the time those meds kick in. You feel so helpless don't you with these oldies, you don't know what's going on, nor do they, and all you can do is be there for her and give her lots of tlc, bless her dear old heart. All the best, I hope she picks up a bit later for you.
