SLR Recommendations

My H has a Miniolta X-300 that he loves but it has broken for the second time. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good SLR that's not too expensive?

Are you talking film or digital. If it's digital, I have the Canon EOS 350d. I've enjoyed using it and get some very good results.

Thanks Helen - I think he'd prefer film.

This one is a good entry level SLR with a host of excellent features. Retails at about £199.00

Stick to Canon and Nikon. They both always come out on top with reviews.
