Max, male Dogue de Bordeaux X, DOB 02.10
Max, Dogue de Bordeaux X, DOB 02.10 – Godstone, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Max needs a family who are familiar with large breeds. Max needs a secure garden or a secure area close by where he can run off lead. He will need further recall training & to be thoroughly assessed with reference to his fluency with off lead dogs so he can come off lead. Proven with 7 year old children upwards of sound temperament and well meaning. Interested in cats and dogs outside and need gentle introductions.
His Story: Max came to our notice as he was being put to sleep the next day and not having a kennel available, we agreed to save him but needed a few days to find a kennel space which we were given. Max is neutered, chipped and vax'd.
Advert: Max is a medium large dog, a little shy and a bit of a ‘woos’ but not nervous just a little wary. He loves meeting people and his back quarters articulate with delight. He isn't licky but is a best friend and cuddly. Travels well after settling and will attempt to get into the footwell. Gets concerned with off lead dogs and will pull to meet other dogs but when managed he settles though he needs further support in this area.
Max is a Dogue de Bordeaux X with a glorious head to prove it. He is a little under weight and doesn't have the bulk of a pure breed. He is about 3-4 years old. A well mannered dog who will make the most wonderful family dog. Max is a very visual dog who can talk to the telly, is alert to others around him and takes his reassurance from his handler.
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
