When I was a kid we were playing I the garden and my brother only about 3 or 4 screamed cos he found a 'moving stone' turns out it was a tortoise- it had RUN away from the pet shop across road the old chap who ran the shop had said he'd been missing for 3 days I couldn't and still can get an image of a running tortoise out my head lol

They don't actually run..no,but they can move quicker than you think Experts at hiding,spend hours looking for her Wouldn't be without her,she loves me!!

I know they can't run but it's just how the chap said he'd run lol
We wanted to keep her but we had to give her back cos she belonged to the old chap, I think he liked the strawberry plants

Bet he's still alive,if they die before they are 80,they've died young The tortoise,not the old chap
