Any ideas on 'wet suit booties' for dogs please?

As many of you know, Hoki is spending a lot of time in the river at the moment - its really good exercise to build up her leg muscles after her op and she really enjoys it.

The trouble is, I noticed when we finished yesterday that 2 of her nails (on different paws) were bleeding - I think she must be catching them on the shingle on the river bed.

I have been looking into booties, but the only ones I can see seem to be waterproof/resistent, which would mean that they would fill up once she got in the water.

What I was thinking about is more of a wet suit type - i.e. wouldn't keep her feet dry, but the inside of boot itself wouldn't fill up with water.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this please, of got any other suggestions as to how to protect her feet (short of not playing in the river!)?

Thanks Suze, but no they have nothing. I don't mind her foot getting wet, just don't want something which is going to fill up and weigh her down!

Are these any good?

Or these, both are supposed to be free draining.

The last link shows the boots about half way down the page.

culpeppers sell boots and they also sell the dog wrap to make sure that they dont come off

dog wrap is unaffected by water and so should help you out even if the boots arent what your looking for

Thanks Fudgeley.
Liked the look of both - was tempted to order the ones from dogmobility, but they have sold out of just about every size apart from small (will have to measure her paws when I get home from work - that should be fun!)
