Depends on how much whisky is in the glass

Apart from 2 cups of coffee, one at breakfast one at lunch, I only drink water.

Water? Plain water? None!

But I reckon I go through about 3 litres of non-alcofrolic liquid a day. In the summer it is cold whatever, and in the winter it is hot whatever, but even in the winter I have a 500ml bottle of liquid with me all the time.

Tap water here is as good as you would get anywhere but one of the purifying agents is an allergen to me, so because of that, and because it is easier than boiling a kettle, I have a "water machine" - like an office cooler - which supplies either very cold or very hot water, and I have containers of mineral water delivered every four weeks.

I get very thirsty so I glug glug, and yes the glug glug makes me pee more. But because I take a diuretic for high BP [under total control thanks to medication] plus heart pills - which also help my kidneys function, I need to drink a lot and pee a lot, and having watched my father die of renal failure and the agony he was in, I will carry on with the glug glug and if I need to get up in the night to pee? So what.

I drink loads, plain filtered tap water, flavoured fizzy water preferably lemon and lime, sugar free squash usually pink grapefruit and I also dilute fruit juice half and half. Not a big tea or coffee drinker perhaps one cup a day.

Not enough 2 coffees in the morning, then maybe a sip of water lunchtime if I'm thirsty, a coke around 4 pm, and by bedtime I'm really thirsty, so I drink 2 half pint glasses in one hit! Norty, I should drink more.

Hubby always has a pint of water in his hand, he's trying to drown himself methinks. As soon as he walks in the back door in the evening he heads straight for the tap, because he hasn't had water for an hour It then carries on all evening, he'll probably have 6 pints of the stuff! Somethings wrong with him
