Every 3 years from 25 - 49 and then 5 yearly from 50 - 64.

I thought you had to have smear tests as soon as your became sexually active? I had my first long before 25 I am sure

smears tests vary on when and hwo long inbetween on differnt primary care trusts.

generally the rule nwo is every 5 years starting at 25.

although some stil ldo every 3 years and some still start from 21 whioch it used to be.

it is reccomended to start for mwhen yo ubecome sexuall yactive ro 21 which ever comes first but due to costs alot of pct's now only take testees fro mwhen they have their start dates ie 25 years old etc ..
