Rayne is poorly =(

My poor little lady is really not well, she has we suspect kennel cough and a pretty nasty case of it too

Last night I ended up taking her to the RVC at 3am after repeated episodes of lip smacking, pacing, crying and a couple of episodes of vomiting, poor girl was really distressed. They could find little wrong with her as typically when she got there all symptoms stopped, only to start again when we got home. By this morning she had started coughing and salivating.

We took xrays today to rule out any foreign bodies in her throat as she is a complete scavenger. They were all clear so an infection is most likely.

She has a week of antibiotics and anti inflammatories with plenty of TLC to hopefully get her on the road to recovery. She's a very sad girl at this moment in time as I am also having only got a single hours sleep last night!

The things we do for them!

Hayley maybe a little honey in warm water may sooth the sore throat and help with the coughing . I hope Rayne is better soon
