Happy birthday Eileen.

My friend Anita has just rung and wants to meet for lunch at the garden centre. So I can get my little tree while I am there.

Better dash mum and dad will be here soon. It is so lovely and warm out in the garden. Love this weather.

Happy Birthday Eileen. Loving Lily and Billy
Fingers crossed your washing machine has arrived, are you going to put a wash in and sit and watch it because its new
No sunshine here, you've stolen it again haven't you, sunning yourselves, part nekkid whilst we in the Frozen Norf are ... well er...frozen. Very overcast and dull here, as Lynne says we're hoping for better things later.
Glad to hear Zena had a good night and no upset at all.
Wasn't me with the cake crumbs Helena, I never got a look in at the cake. Maybe Eileen will be bringing her chocolate cake in with her tonight for her birthday party.
Enjoy the visit to your mum Jenny, hope the drive goes well and no holdups either. Have a good day with her and the boys.
Bev, sounds like you've got a lovely day planned for yourself, you've got sun as well.... the tree idea sounds lovely.
Lynn, I've come to the conclusion that people can't or won't read, I actually have a note on my door asking for any parcels to be left at a neighbours if I'm not around.
More often than not it ends up at the sorting office, which is an hour round trip if the traffic is bad. Thank goodness you were able to sort it all out before it all went pear shaped. The only worst thing could have been if it was a school day and you ended up holding everyone up whilst the oil was delivered, maybe a phone call to a 'High Up' will bear fruit, I hope so!!! Give Elaine a hug from me please when you see her.
I'm sat thinking about the risk of going on the field and meeting up with The Neo. One bit of me thinks he'll be keeping it out of trouble, the other bit thinks he's too stupid to understand that he should be doing this. I doubt he even has a lead between all 3 dogs to be honest.
I'm pretty worried, but I have to train somewhere, I can no longer use the enclosed ball park as the council have banned that, so I am at risk because of them really.
Will more than likely have a walk up there and see whats what

Eileen - I think Lily and Billy are adorable!

Bev - enjoy your lunch with your friend and I hope you get the little tree you want at the garden centre.

June - I do hope that Neo keeps away so you can use the field. The owner must be extremely thick if he has been warned and yet still lets the dogs out loose.

Lord Gord, sir - a very Good Afternoon to you!

- well the refrigerator techie turned up on the dot of noon and I am now wondering whether Shabi told me 8-10am or 8am-noon. Anyhow, I was rather peeved [actually I was extremely peeved] when he said either I shut Da Booga away or he would not come in, so I moved Xanadu as far away from the door as possible and wound her tether round his handles so she could not get anywhere near him.

He said it was not the thermostat but that I had not turned the freezer to cold enough [rubbish - it runs at -20°C] and that I need to turn it down even more for the refrigerator to work properly. Again rubbish, as the refrigerator always ran extremely cold until yesterday with the freezer at it's current setting, and has done ever since the f/f was new.

So it is OK now without him actually doing anything apart from checking the temperature in both the freezer and the refrigerator, and altering the settings - worth the call out charge though to get everything right, only until yesterday it was fine on the previous settings.

I will see how it goes and if I am not happy I will call them again as I will not pay another call-out charge.

Rosie's ears are fine, gave them a thorough check and they all clear. Thank goodness.
She's been walked well more a race round with her ball
She's now worn out and asleep.
Going to sweep floors and then go do my half hour childminding.
