and JRT border collie is a pretty common crossbreed - there are even people breeding them as flybal dogs
I have met a GSD Corgie Cross too.

He's lovely!

As a Rough Collie owner I can definitely see the RC in him. That first pic is Whisper's 'look'!

We've been very lucky and haven't had any destructive issues with Whisper (she's a rescue too) and am a newbie' to dog-ownership (or should that be 'new to being owned by a dog' lol) but you've had some excellent advice. I'd certainly be inclined to crate train him tbh as suggested.

He's very young yet and it is indeed early days for you both - I wish you well with him.

Shamus the Shorthair was quite destructive at first. We would swap what we didn`t want him to have for something we did and play with him for a while with the `new` toy. That made it more fun than the towel or whatever.

My friends JRT had pups, dad was a Border Collie...odd looking pups they were.
