Bobby - 10 Month old Bichon

Bobby is a 10 month old bichon and is currently on foster in Abercarn.

Dog status: Bobby loves other dogs and would love young playful canine company in a new home
Cat status: Will chase cats, chickens and anything else that will run and give him a good fun game!
Child status: Good, could be rehomed with children aged 5 years plus
House training: A couple of minor blips when he first arrived but now very good
Home alone: Can be left for short periods but does love company
Basic training: Knows stay, sit, paw and wait. Very intelligent and would love to learn more.



Well, what can I say about Bobby. Who could resist having a cute white bundle of fluff and fun in their life!?

Bobby is as bright as a button and is a real joy to have around. He is always on the look out to make you smile or laugh and has a wonderfully sunny disposition.

Bobby is in foster care with other dogs and gets along with them very well including taking discipline from a very grumpy older lady! He would adore a new home where there is another dog or two to play with and snuggle up to. He may be able to be rehomed as an only dog if he had a lot of human company and mental and physical stimulation.

Bobby has previously lived with cats but did learn that chasing is excellent fun and had to be kept separate from them. He is now in foster care with chickens and he sees them as fair game for a bit of a chase also. He will not be rehomed where there are resident cats.

Bobby has yet to realise he is 10 months old and should have got over the explore-the-world-with-your-mouth phase. He will still give things a nibble if they are left within reach, mascara tubes, toilet roll inners etc. He will need a puppy proofed house for a while longer.



Bobby adores people and is very well socialised and confident in their company. He travels well in the car and has been very well behaved for the vet. Bobby was used to using a dog flap in his last home and has had to adjust to life without which did lead to a few accidents at first but he has got the hang of the crossing your legs and asking to go out now.

All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming.
