Help needed for new pup

Hi everyone

We are picking up our new Sprocker baby in 2 weeks and am unsure of what food to put him on. Our 8 and 13 year old are on autarky salmon senior, which seems to suit them well. Breeder recommends csj food.

I am looking at putting Teddy on either j
Autarky puppy
John birch puppy food
Wainwrights
James well beloved
Iams puppy

Please can you all offer me some advice or opinions.

He needs to be on dry complete to suit me and my other two....

Thanks in advance. Our other two were rescues so am new to all this puppy food

Id keep him on the Bakers for at least the first week then gradually change him over. Have you looked at Skinners yet? Their foods are reasonably priced amd not bad ingredient wise either. Orijen comes highly recomended.

If neither of those appeal to you then stick with brand your happy with?

My dog is on Skinners Salmon & Rice plus raw (pig pluck and chicken mainly at the moment) and eggs.

Autarky puppy _ I wasnt impressed with the ingredients list for the money, think it was Soy that put me off?
John birch puppy food - never heard of it tbh
Wainwrights - bit cheaper than JW but my dog didnt like this much
James well beloved - far too pricey for ingredients and I dont think my dog had one solid poo when I tried him on it
Iams puppy - remember thinking what a lot og crap for that price!

Please can you all offer me some advice or opinions.

Tbh, that was a while ago & things can change maybe? And all dogs are different, probably all mentioned are better than Bakers.

Using memory regarding the others, id say this might be the best bet from your list.

I wouldnt worry too much about a lack of reviews, if no-one else comes on this thread maybe start a thread asking if anyone has triedthis food, or heard of it...see if anything comes of it. The 'big brands' may have millions feeding their products just to get the reviews that they do...
