Same here! Odd gloves, socks. And where do all the teaspoons go?

The latest is the dvd remote control - although I suspect my two-year-old might have had something to do with that, not the gremlins.

No problems here all small items go in a 'washing net'. I gave one to my DIL for baby socks too

I currently have no less than 6 odd socks on top of my dressing table waiting for their partners to turn up.....somewhere.....somewhen. Does the washing machine actually eat socks I wonder??? I know I put an actual pair in there each time, but guaranteed, when it comes to putting all the stuff away, there are those odd socks again!

I think I'm going to start a new trend and wear odd socks lol!

Oh Norma, your thread is so true My last little dog did have a habit of stealing socks which she would bury down the back of he settee but at least I knew where to look. The poor wee dog always got blamed for odd socks. ....... however .........she has been gone for well over two years and we only every seem to have odd socks

I actually threw a load away a month or so ago and bought a load more from Tesco as I was so sick of waiting for their partners to turn up.

Maybe washing machines do actually eat them, because I only ever put socks in as pairs?

LS, my nephew's little kid posted the remote control through the slot in the video machine.

Mini, I was given one of those net bags - I will go and have a look for it right now. Thanks for reminding me.

I've got 2 of those netbags, but I found it keeps all the dog hairs in with the washing, so no good for me here with such a hairy monster as Zena

Hubby found it in the veg box in the fridge
He said he had heard of a cool iron but that was blxxdy ridiculous ?

The socks slip behind the drum sometimes on the fast spin.
Put them in a pillow case.
Problem solved

Do you have a waste-disposal? Apparently they need to eat teaspoons in order to survive...
