Should Dwain Chambers be allowed to run in the Olympics?

Personally I think he should not only of been banned for life from the Olympics, but from every athletics meeting in the world.

He and his ilk have brought disgrace to a once noble sport, because once a cheat, always a cheat.

No, any drug taker in sport should be banned for life, no ifs, buts or maybes. He is a disgrace to the sport and could cost someone clean a place.

No, I think if you take something which you know is illegal and then get caught, that should be the end of the line.

I mean what possible case can he have for being allowed back in?

His case that he said after a race today was. "I deserve a 2nd chance, Im a good runner, all I know is how to run fast".

And that should've read:

"I deserve a 2nd chance, Im a good runner, all I know is how to [cheat to enable me to] run fast"

I'm afraid I know only a little about this, so please excuse my possible ignorance, but hasn't he "served his time" for the offence?

In my opinion no! he new the penalty when he did what he did, what kind of an example is it going to give kids (whether in the sport or not)? that if you break the rules its ok you can carry on as normal after a bit? If running is all he knows then he was stupid to throw away his chances!

Part of it, the punishment is a 2yr worldwide ban and a life ban from the olympics. He served the 2yr ban but is challenging the olympic ban.

Banned. Should stay banned.
Drug taking because he thought he wouldn't get caught ( as said in an interview) Shame on him.
Hope the High Court kicks his appeal out, and a decent young kid gets a chance to go.
