Smoothie recipes..

SB - I know you feed Smoothies to your dogs - can I steal a few recipes from you Please

Just chuck dog-safe ingredients in the blender in sensible portion sizes, don't think they're particularly fussy about the flavour An egg, some veg, bit of natural yoghurt, a banana, etc. - just make sure it's stuff they're used to eating or introduce each new ingredient one at a time.

Well I do not have specific recipes the base is always the same:

! large carton of live yoghurt
1 egg


If it is sweet then I add

1 banana
+ any other fruit
spoonful of Manuka honey

If it is savoury I add

garlic
keepers mix
easygreen
whatever veggies I have to hand

If they are ill I omit the egg and add

Slippery Elm Food
Manuka Honey
