How many people...

... think your dog is the opposite gender to what it actually is?

People always think Jess is a male, and people so far in the main think Harley is female.

So, do other people get this?

Perhaps it's something about the GSD? Every person I've met always asked what 'his' name is. Even after I've said her name is Greta, they would say 'how old is he?'

So, I went to the pet store and bought a neon-pink harness and a lead in baby pink. Her collar is also glow-in-the dark pink with flowers on it

Daisy (despite the cute pink collar with teeny tiny skulls on it) is always a `he`. Shamus tends to be an `it`. As in `what is it?`.

Bo my Slovakian ALWAYS gets called a 'he'. In fairness, she isn't very ladylike, so I can see why!

jake usually gets he although a guy in the park, who knows jake is male, still calls him 'she' think he gets confused coz his dog is female.

our old boy Kip was always getting mistaken for a bitch.

I got fed up of correcting (or ignoring) people so with the girls I got them both very girly collars -but even without them I think most people seem to realise they are girls.

To be fair Shamus has got a daffodil right infront of his winky!!

Lily always gets mistaken for a boy despite her garish pink collar and the fact she's on her back displaying her wares most of the time!!

Parker gets people thinking he is a girl but that could be something to do with the pink bobble my husband put into his hair to keep it out of his eyes!

I have been walking Cherry on a pink collar and lead and people still ask me what sex she is!

My Mum (bless her) still gets my 2 muddled up despite Cherry having a unique Kerry ear carriage of one sticking straight up!

Scratch was always a 'she' until he lost a lot of his hair, and now it is growing back, 'she' is back
