Morning Dogsey Daily Saturday

Good morning and I hope it is ok my starting this today..

Birds loud out there...they say rain tonight so must make the most of today. .

Had a note last night; the First Holy Communion is NEXT Saturday. Very Irish these folk...

So reorganising the day...Waterville I think. Over the two high mountain passes...sell all i can to the nice man at the craft market then see if i am brave enough to set up in the car park by the entrance to the beach.

Did this once in March and met a retired priest walking his dog. He was carrying a small garden trowel and he buries any dog dirt he finds. He bought a hat and sent some others to me and told me to come back.

Feel like staying in bed but will feel better when i am out.

Do not need any shopping this weekend which is as well as none of the big supermarkets have managed to infiltrate the Ring yet..

Have a lovely day over there and make the most of the sunshine.

Morning Rosebud and all,
Nice to see someone new doing the daily post, so thank you Rosebud.

Well who has stolen the sun? Finally I get a day off to enjoy the sun and all that greets me is cloud. Just watched the forecast as I am going to the beach with my two youngest grandchildren today and they have even said there could be an odd isolated shower.
Great I sweated half to death in work the past couple of days It was unbearable in the cafe with the heat and the hot cooking and drinks machines going, and we were so busy we were running round constantly. now I can enjoy it its gone. Someone up there is not loving me.

So I think a jacket will be needed at the beach . We are going to Frinton on sea and then walking along the beach to Walton where we will go on the pier and play on the penny machines.
I am only about 20 mins from Clacton-on-sea, Frinton or Walton so a good choice, although I prefer frinton and Walton as its not so commercialised and the beaches are lovely and sandy with no stones.

Rosebud I would bite the bullet and set up in that car park, trade could be very good.

Enjoy your day all whatever your plans and I hope you see some sun.

Morning all

Sky managed to fix our internet overnight so thank the lord for technology cos we had to do nothing.

Had a glorious morning yesterday getting my feet pampered by the chiropodist lady who cut off a corn which she couldn't believe iu had put up with for so long and although it hurt for a moment cos it was ery deep there was ni blood and now there's absolutely nothing there. I'm gonna look after my feet now. then went into the nail bar and they gel painted them in a really bright pinky purple and had a lovely chat to all the Chinese staff and customers what a laugh I gave them with my hand.

cleaner had done my house, but watching her was painful, cos it took her an hour to do what I do in 10 mins lol. I'll let her stick with the vans and get somebody else for the house methyinks otherwise it will drive me insane and frustrated. lovely lady we get on well but talk too much and I'm paying!

loving my new life here and wondering what else on my anatomy I can get pampered.

rose, you sounded like u were really struggling with your hand yesterday, I know the feeling, and were so right in what you said.

off out with my chauffer today

have a lovely week-end everyone.

you sound grand helena. i think we go through stages with these injuries. you are reorganising and fighting!

i was fine when there was an end in view..YOU know, cast off hello arm! all is drama and sympathy..

now it is starting to get me down. so a new fight now. i could easily weep this morning and if i need to i will. my work for others means all the world to me.
eight weeks on..ah well!

yet it came in very useful in court. wearing a brace over a black stretch glove when out and a sling.

this case is an irish right of way battle. common as muck here. the man who uses the access lane to this house is a vicious creature. has all but destroyed the lane. and court issues for nearly 20 years.

so when i asked the judge if i could speak, and they invited me down, i limped down the stairs with my crutch, told him re the damage then held up my poooooooor arm and told them that when i needed an ambulance they refused again because the lane is so bad.

the look on his face was rewarding.

so now a new phase and with no reduction in pain or use.
cannot pick anything up or turn a door knob but elbows are useful

the road today is through spectacular scenery, and will heal

and yes i have been driving since the start .no choice really and then the two harpie district nurses who arrived unbidden told me i must. quiet roads etc.

would have gone crazy else..

ah not fair is it! so sorry but it is only may...ah well may still be dry today, and fun to be had..

will not be quite within reach of where the coaches stop in waterville which is frustrating but the private car folk always spend more!

and it is a lovely spot by the sea...no sand though. lots of dog walkers.

enjoy the day!

Morning Rose. I hope you have a successful day.
Morning Bev it is cloudy here too but it is meant to get hotter as the day goes on. If its any consolation at one point yesterday it came over so dark I brought the washing in and there was the odd spot of rain. It then got lovely and sunny again. So hang on in there I am sure the sun will come.
Have a lovely day at the beach.
Morning Helena. Brilliant that Sky got the internet fixed overnight.
What a lovely time you are having for now. Cleaners I can imagine them doing your head in I am sure they would mine too and all the pampering but what a price you have paid for it.
Enjoy the day with your chauffeur. I take it you mean Dave.

Weather cool here at the moment and overcast so we are off to take Dillon for his stroll while its cool we only got a short walk yesterday so hoping for a longer one today.
I think we are popping out to get a strimmer today and look at the sonic repellent things. No patter of little feet across the extension roof last night or any sounds of scratching but then we don't get it every night so time will tell.

Enjoy your day all.

Morning Rosebud and fellow members,

Another beautiful sunny morning here. I'm dog walking with a friend at 9.30 which should be fun. My back isn't as bad as I feared it might be after all the abuse I gave it yesterday. I'm hoping to paint the new palisade fencing and gate my OH made round the other side of the house but will see how the day pans out OH will be out for most of the day so I'll need something to do

Rosebud good luck today and I really hope it is profitable for you. You deserve it after all the hard work you put in
Bev I'm sure the sun is just taking a little longer to wake up east of London. Your day sounds great fun and I'm sure the kids will love it.
Helena That was quick and I'm delighted to see your 'life-line' has been re-installed I guess we can put the pigeons back I bet you are looking so well groomed ...... careful or you may get use to all this pampering
Lynn That must have been a relief to have no visitors over night ...... long may it last. Enjoy your Dillon walk

See you all later and I hope everyone has a lovely day.

just done THREE repeats of hand exercises and for the first time ever there were no tears and my feet didn't bang against the floor with the sheer agony of it and these first morning ones are the absolute worst of all now it's safely back in iys plastic cast having a well earned rest lol. I did them whilst dave is out with zena today, cos yesterday when I did them, I came into the lounge to flop in my chair with exhaustion and noticed he had been crying I said nothing but obviously he had heard my moans and cries whilst I was doing them how blooming sweet is that! I think he loves me

Hi Lynn, I let you off the other night when I rang Jenny but rest assured it's your turn again tues lol. might give our sally a ring too but I won't warn her first talking of Jennies, how are you today dear nippy jen cos u were very unwell yesterday?xxx
