But unless they tied, there is a slim possibility of ur dog being the sire, it isn't impossible as fertile matings don't allways haveto result in a tie, but this is the usual, so unless they tied then therre are slim chances of your dog being the sire.
Best of luck with the dam and pups
Best wishes

not totally true luke many litter have been produced from a slip mating ...firstly get the vet to check her over as she is very young to have a litter...........A scan would be a good idea to get dates......this is not ideal but now its happened not a lot you can do apart from learn as much as you can about the whelping .........you have a busy time ahead now

he said they got stuck together.... is that what you mean? he said they did it twice, one one day, then again 2 days later. the bitch has swollen teats, and a bulgy belly, which she did not have before

Dont panic, its not the end of the world.
She is very young to have a litter but we can deal with that later.

WHen you take her the vet ask him to confirm if she is in pup.
IF she is ask him to try to guess how far into the preg she is.
If she isnt too far gone they can remove the pups and spay her so thats 1 option.

If she is too far gone you will need to decide if you can afford to keep the bitch as she will need more food, she will need a whelping box and warm bed the pups are going to need YOU 24/7 to check on the bitch to make sure she isnt lying on any,if they are warm enough if she has enough milk etc.

Im not asking you to abandon the bitch but you could give some thought to phoning the RSPCA or other charity and asking if they could take her,it would be better than her suffering and possibly losing the pups and the stress on yourself would ease.(please dont think Im saying your going to make her suffer).

There are options open to you so dont panic were all here for you.

If you decide you want to carry on and raise the pups then we can help you through that too.

Dont panic and worry yourself your not alone :smt049
