Not good news

I took Kyiro to the vets for another check up on his foot this morning, some of the dead pad and come away and she was able to remove the stiches. However the pad is still after 5 weeks very swollen and still very tender for him.
Claire my vet has rebandaged it to give him some soft padding to make standing on it more comfortable but she said if it doesn't start to settle in the new year we may have to consider an amputation.
I have booked all his appointments through christmas and new year in advance for checks and bandage changes but I just pray this will sort itself out inside over the next 2-3 weeks as my poor boy has been through enough and not complained once about not going for walks or what he is put through, it doesn't seem fair he should have to go through more.
Please send him lots of healing thoughts and Dogsey vibes in hope he can soon be pain free without more major surgery.

I am so sorry Bev, it's taking a long time for poor Kyiro, there must be a reason why it's not improving.

Poor Kyiro It's just not fair, he's been such a good boy for you Bev. I'm sending everything I've got that the pad might heal well over the next 2 or 3 weeks and he won't have to undergo the surgery. (((((hugs)))))) for you Bev, you must be in a state there I'm sure.xxxxx

That is hard news

Just a thought here but have you tried eg herbal and homeopathic stuff,, I will ask family tonight about it all as they are so skilled and experienced that they are sure to have had to cope with this kind of problem..

Meanwhile, healing prayers , and for you.

Oh poor Kyiro. Bless him, he's been through an awful lot.

Everything firmly crossed that the pad miraculously heals over Christmas - it is the season of miracles xx
