What I've learned....

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do it stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people are just a***holes.

I've learned that it takes years to build up trust, and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.

I've learned that you can get by on charm for about 15 minutes. After that you need a large w*lly or huge boobs.

I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to others - they are more screwed up than you think.

I've learned that you can keep vomiting long after you think you're finished.

I've learned that we are responsible for what we do - unless we are celebrities.

I've learned that no regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place.

I've learned that 99% of the time when something isn't working in your house, one of your kids did it.

I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon and all the less important ones just never go away.

After a while you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul, and you learn that love does not mean leaning and company does not mean security,
And you begin to learn that kisses are not contracts and presents are not promises,
And you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and your eyes open and with the grace of an adult, not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build all your roads on today because tomorrows ground is to uncertain for your plans.
After a while you learn that even the sun burns if you get to much,
So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you will learn you really can endure,that you really are special.
And that you really do have worth.
So live to learn and know yourself. In doing so you will learn to live

you won't have that ecstatically happy feeling you get when you are with someone you love..
but you can achieve a quiet inner peace
