Grrrrr

Im so mad, for the last week Iv been having to delete a connection called GB dialer and NV dialer that keep appearing on my computer and connecting using my internal modem, then if you dont notice it it starts charging at an alarming rate.

5 Times Iv gone and removed it from my network connections and 5 times its found its way back.

I have just found out these companies are being investigated, they are making money out of unsuspecting internet users.

Anyway to make sure Iv just rung BT and asked then to barr all premium numbers from my phone.

I have premium rate numbers blocked too. As my son was on a games site and it connected to a premium rate line.

We were charged about £70 for it.

lol@Staffy

Actually this time it wasnt Oddballs fault it was a 13 year old child who was playing internet games with other net users. The Dialer was installing itself through the connection.

We tried everything before we realised he was dropping the XP firewall and the pop up stopper to access the site and so giving the dialer access to the internal modem.

At least we havent got any large bills through it because we noticed everytime that it was connecting, but it was still hardwork trying to stop the connection and then delete it, for it to come back again.
