With a name like that, I would have thought your first impression may have been a bit better than a spammer joining up to advertise their site - you could have at least read the forum rules and posted a genuine introduction before you try touting for business!

Hi All,

As a newcomer to this site and not really sure of blogs/forums I find the reply from krlyr rather a nasty response!!

I'm the proud owner of a 4 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel who is my pride and joy.
She has ispired me to set up a new company, a family run company which will provide enthusiastic pet owners like myself to cherish their impressions forever.

Currently i'm working full time and trying to get a new business up and running. A business will be personal, friendly and hopefully rewarding for the customer and myself.
I really don't take to comments such as the one posted by krlyr who obviously doesn't see how difficult getting a business up and running can be.
If i was a spammer, why would i put my name on a site?!!!!

Thanks too anybody else who may look up the company once i have it established in the next month or so.
As I said, keep a look out and i'll keep you all posted!

Beth (Not a spammer by the way)!!

Whether I understand the difficulty in starting a business or not doesn't change the forum rules

http://www.dogsey.com/posting-guidelines.htm

4) No Spamming Please

Type A - Spamming can be considered as posting just for the sake of it, or posting just to increase post count, or going off topic in a thread. The only place you can go off topic is in the chat-room – All other threads should always remain on topic.

If you are looking at ways to increase your post count then there are lots of genuine ways to do so… you could make some comments in other peoples picture threads, welcome some new people in the Your Introductions section, make some comments to recent articles, post your well wishes for dogs needing homes in the Rescue Sections, leave a comment in someones blog entry, or you could always take part in discussions or offer your input in other threads/questions etc

Please don’t post ‘For [friends name]` type threads, as these are usually seen as spam. If you want to get someone in particular’s attention, use the PM system, or, the chat room.

Type B - Another form of spamming is when some uses the site to advertise something, it could be a website, a puppy, a product, or basically anything that the person wants to advertise. This is not allowed whatsoever. If anyone wants to advertise they should contact us to take out banner advertising or the like.
