Sticking toilet systern button

Yes this had been sticking in and not releasing meaning the water kept running in the toilet systern.

So took the plastic face panel off to look see and this is what I found

the silver press button is right at the bottom of picture.

So first thoughts was to replace and the unit price was around £50

Having removed the unit from the panel and tried it again it worked ok, so must have been an age wear in one position thing.

Putting it back together I broke a plinth retaining plastic clip
so off to B&Q for new clips £2 for a packet of 4.

I was going to get a plumber in to fix it as me and water don't like each other.
At least job done at a fraction of what I was thinking it would cost
