Sherlock - Staffy Puppy

Sherlock is a 12 week old Staffie pup and is currently on foster in Cardiff, South Wales. He is a confident and strong willed boy who will need a bull breed experienced home where there are clear boundaries and lots of stimulation and exercise.

Sherlock responds very well to human interaction and is very clever and intuitive dog. His new family must be prepared to take him to positive reward based training classes (this will form part of the rehoming contract).

Sherlock is a typical pup and will chew when he is left. He will need to be distracted by a high value toy or chew!. Therefore we would suggest that his new family crate him when he is left alone. He also digs a lot in the garden. Sherlock's housetraining is coming along nicely.

He is currently on foster with a 7 year old child whom he is particulary keen on and does not mind a lot of attention and clumsiness from children. He has yet to meet a cat! Sherlock completes his course of vaccinations this week, he is worm and flea treated and will be microchipped.

All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. As Sherlock is under 6 months old he will need to be neutered at 6 months and proof provided as part of the rehoming contract. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK.
