Morning Dogsey Daily Thread - Saturday

Morning all Dogsey peops

Hope everyone had a good night along with their doglets. Dave cannot sleep properly, so I bought him some of those Kalms, 2 different boxes of the stuff, and he said he's had the worst night ever I've got to pack him off to the docs because this can't go on, he just catches an hour here and there, whereas I sleep like a log, but it doesn't matter about me, cos I don't work hard like he does Over the years, he's blamed us all, Zena, my mum, me, but now that he's stuck in a hotel room all on his own for 2nights of the week and it still happens, he realises it's actually him.

Right that's my woe's of the day, hope things will look up for you today Chris with Garyxx Lynn I hope you are getting sorted with the Mac, Bev with Kyiro, Sally with little Jimmi,Lorraine please wrap up warm, June with all your cleaning and washing, grandma with the sirens, Jenny with your funny turn last night when you fell asleep (I don't miss anything ya know even if I've gone to bed, and I told you you should have had that nanny nap ) I hope you're feeling all better this morning. If I've missed anyone I'm sorry, but I do try to keep up.

Zena is definitely getting her overalls on today, coz by the time we get out there as I've overslept it's going to be pretty torrential for us in the south and even worse tonight after midnight with 70mph winds but don't worry, when we've finished with this lot it's heading up your way but of course, it probably won't be as bad once we've all taken the brunt of it down here. Stay safe everyone, especially Jen and everyone down in the West Country, it's going to be pretty wild down there

Dave's going to give my new car a good going over and a big service etc. and I have very little to do today, woop woop Makes a change doesn't it for me.

Nice to see this place so clean and tidy this morning, but then we did have a lot of help last night thanks to Malka's usual input , who I do hope is ok, cos she never came back on after posting up that last pic , but then maybe it was her who went off with that ironing guy??

Hope you're planning on a nice relaxing week-end too, so enjoy it

Morning H and all,
This is really the calm before the storm this morning, theres not a breath of wind out there. I am worried though as Charly has informed me they may drive home from Devon tonight if not it will be early tomorrow morning. Its about a 5 hour drive and in those conditions I am going to be worrying myself sick till they arrive home. Charly has to get back to uni Monday morning though and Ash is back at work Monday very early morning, so its got to be done.
Poor Dave he can't go on like that can he, I hope you can get him to the doctors.
Hope things are looking up for all doggies and people with problems, seems like their has been loads of us recently.
Enjoy your day everyone, at least its the weekend.

Morning Bev, I think it would be a better idea if they were to make their way back home this morning if it's still ok down there, and I also think that tonight will be totally out of the question what with what's coming and that wind Can't you persuade them? Hope Kyiro's doing ok with his poorly foot this morning.

Morning Helena, morning all.

Well the mac after fighting again with me this morning decided to play nicely again today for how long who knows.
I did try to pop in later last night but it just wouldn't oblige so I gave up and went to bed.

I hope everyone is well today and all those with poorly family, doggies and who are poorly themselves get well soon.

Gorden is off exploring today. He hopes to see the mosque, take a tram ride and pick up a few last minute pressies. He has presentaitons tomorrow and a leaving party I think then packing because Monday he leaves Pavlodar for Almaty and Tuesday he leaves Almaty for home.

Apparently one of the consultants is so angry with the whole situation from beginning to end he is thinking of suing the organisations here and in Almaty he is going to get his lawyer onto it when he gets home see what can be done then let all the others know if it is worth it and then they are free to use the information to see if they want to get lawyer involved too. For the financial stress to them and their families and having to leave families behind to deal with the fall out with regard to the financial situation.
He hasn't been treated so well either as Gorden and his colleague in the region they workd in so that doesn't help i'm sure.

Have agood day all and lets hope they have got the weather wrong for the weekend.

Morning Helena,Morning all

I hope you can sort Dave out with his sleeping issues,my hubby doesn't sleep well and he does my head in.....

Bev I hope Charly has a safe journey home,

Hope Gordon has a good day exploring,

I'm off to pick up some bits for tomorrow's lunch in a bit and have a sore foot as I slipped yesterday and it's always my right one which I hurt, the one I sprained and damaged the ligaments

I am getting a bit worried about Meg,her coat is awful and some of her symptoms are pointing to thyroid or cushing's disease,so I am going to see how she goes over the next few weeks and if she shows no improvement I am going to get her to the vets for some bloods to be done.

I don't envy you down south,no doubt we will get it later, stay safe everyone x

Have a good day all x

I think it would be better for them to set off this morning too H, but I wont get hold of them now as they had a big family party last night with all Ash's family and so didn't get to bed till just before I got up so won't be emerging till this afternoon, when I think they have more plans.
I have told them though they must text me as they leave Devon so I can know after 5 and a half hours they should be home, if they are not I will contact them and if I can't reach them then I really panic.
I hope they at least leave it till daylight tomorrow as at least if its rough you can see better where your heading.

Not long now Lynn and Gordon will be home, it doesn't seem 2 mins since you were tearfully saying goodbye.
How have you found it? Has it gone quicker than you expected?
I bet your getting excited now and I would love to see Dillons reaction when he walks in

Hi everyone

Poor Dave sounds like me. I had a dreadful night - soooo tired today.

I hope they have a safe journey Bev.

Really pleased that Gorden will be home soon Lynn.

I hope your foot feels better Sal and am sorry to hear about Meg. Hugs.

Not sure what we're doing today - Christmas stuff, amusing the children, playing with Loki, sorting house stuff out.

I hope everyone has a happy Saturday.

xxx

I was thinking the same Bev when I took Dillon for his walk so calm and quiet out there. There is a breeze now and its very cold.

I hate it Bev we were not meant to be apart we don't deal with it very well me worse than Gorden. But had and possibly has to be done again. It feels like forever to me.

(((Hugs))) Bev I can imagine your worry over Charly and Ash.
