Kammi, I am so sorry to hear about this. It's always hard to lose a loved one, but she was taken much too soon.
Rest in the knowledge that she went peacefully, feeling safe and content.

A big hug for you and Alfie, I'm sure you will be a great support to each other at this horrible time. But know we're all here for you too.
Take care

Thank you everyone.

Both myself and Alfie are finding it hard just now, I'm just glad she went on a comfy bed at home and not in kennels x

I know this won't help you, and I'm not sure she was an ex racing grey, but sadly I've heard of several rescue greys that just died suddenly at young ages like this. They usually were retired or reject racing grays. It's sad that I have heard of this so much. I wonder why I keep hearing of this

I've met a few grays and though one was extremely excitable, the others were all kind, sweet, and gentle dogs. Again, so sorry for your loss. At least you have sweet Alfie to grieve with. You're not alone, hang in there... the pain does ease with time.

(Hugs)

How awful for you, what a shock. I have just lost my lovely old dog, and I warn you it will take a long time for the pain to go away. I really feel for you, take care....
