Help with Adware problem

Norton picked up an Adware problem but couldn't delete it. Neither SpyBot nor Adaware picked it up and when I looked for it in the place where Norton said it would be (ysbactivex.dll within Temporary Internet Files/Content.IE5) it wasn't there.

Has any one got any idea how to find and get rid of this thing?

It's known as Adware.Istbar on the Symantec site but I can't find this or ysbactivex.dll on the computer.

Thanks.

Another thing if you got your option set in explorer to empty the temp folder when the explorer is closed this will the reason it's not there cause it's already deleted.

If it is in the Temporary Internet Files, try clearing your cache.

In IE, goto Tools and select Internet Options.

Under the Temporary Internet Files section, click on the Delete Files button.

If you re-scan with Norton, does it still find them ?

Alternatively, try the removal tool:

Thanks everyone - used the removal tool and it said it wasn't there so will re-scan with Norton to make sure.
