I'm back, I did have a chair but there were even more shouting kids than I had anticipated and the sun was scorching!
After 2 1/2 I said to hubby that I was going to go indoors and see if I could sit in there. To which he said I don't mind going home if you want to go Whoopie, I was gone!
I don't think multi-generation parties really work.

You look nothing of the sort, lovely and summery looking I would say. had to laugh though,when I take a photo of mum in the garden she poses with the flowers too, touches them just like you.

OH just phoned. The show is over now & they were thinking of travelling home tonight, fortunately (for me) they decided they were too tired for a 4hour trip so will be leaving in the morning instead Ive had a lazy day today apart from 3 doggy walks & making a carrot cake. the sun wasnt too hot today - much more pleasant.

Carrot cake can be added to the party nibbles
