Pet Insurance

Do you have pet insurance? At the moment I’m with E&L which is really reasonable priced. As I have heard a few bad things about them I’ve looked at Petplan which looks really good but pricey. I checked a quote online today with M&S and their policy which is almost identical to Petplan but about half the price. So I think I may change to them, is anybody with M&S or is there any others I should look at?

Cheers
Paul

We got insurance with Toby and wouldn't be without it we are with petplan and can't see us changing any time soon. You should look further than just what you can get back for the vets bills as Toby is covered for third party liability and other stuff as well Leo knows more about it than me as she takes care of that sort of thing.

I'm with Tesco, they are very good. Very quick to pay out and very reasonably priced.

I'd definately get as many quotes as you possibly can

Hi Paul
we are with Argos Gold for Gus ( they do three levels of cover- Gold Silver or bronze) and with M&S for Libs although not had to claim for her yet (fingers crossed)
Argos is £125 a year but we've more than had our money back from them Pay out quickly and without hassle but the reason i didnt go for the same cover for Libs is that they only insure til the age of 8 whereas M&S is for life

Paul, Thanks for reminding me :smt023 I've been thinking of changing for a while. Might go now and try some online quotes. I'm with Pinnacle just now, they are pretty cheap but I've never had to make a claim and don't know anyone else who uses them.

I'm with Argos too with Minie, and I'm in the process of trying to make them cough up some money but they took ages to send out a claim form, the first time I rang they never sent one out and the second one took ages.

I'm with Tesco's pet insurance. Thankfully I haven't had reason to use it
