It's my daughter's birthday soon, and she has said she would love to do a day at a spa with her old Mum

Lovely I thought until i started looking on the net omg they are sooooo expensive

Anyone been, or have any recommendations, or suggestions please.

Have you got a centre parcs near you? they do weekends or days where you can use the spa as a package or individual treatments.

Was just going to say the same. Centre Parcs have Aqua Sana health spas. We went to one in the Lake District that was lovely but also pricey. I'll see what I can find later.

What about pamper days at a salon rather than going to a spa? Then you could go out for dinner together later.

Have decided to ditch the health spa, it's too expensive and we can think of a million to one other things to spend that sort of money on

and just as I nearly came up with a brainwave, you ditch the idea!

So what's the next favourite thing to do?

I was going to say, for £50 each you could come to my house, have a paddle in Missy's paddling pool, wear mine and hubby's towelling robes and then I could give you both an Indian head massage and a reflexology treatment.
I would find a few carrot sticks for lunch and some iced water, and you could sit in the summerhouse admiring the 35 foot lawn and various flowers.

You'd almost think you were at a spa - with doggy kisses
