Glad to hear it's not just Maggie who can hold it so long!!! She sometimes goes up to 14/15 hours without peeing, mainly however because she got spooked about going in the garden which we are slowly getting her over so she does go more frequently again now.

Dex (Lab) has a bladder of steel...he will hold it all day, literally, of his own free will.

Ollie is the same he can go for 14 hours or a little more.

I was getting a little concerned but he seems happy and healthy enough and glad too hear he isn't the only one.

I never imagined he would be able to hold it that long he was so difficult to house train.

My dogs seem to develop bladders of steel when it's raining! The female in particular can hang on forever it seems. But then she's just a lazy moo who can sleep on my bed all night, have a quick 20 minute walk at 5.30 a.m. then go back to my bed to sleep all day, eventually getting up at 2.00 p.m. ( I know this because my OH says that sometimes he can't make the bed till the afternoon). Even then Wilma only removes herself from the bed to trot downstairs & go back to sleep on the comfy sofa in the sun. Mind you she's raring to go at 4.00 p.m. when I take them out for a couple of hours after work.

Teagan has 'held it' in for 2 days - it was raining, the garden was flooded, and she refused to go!
(she has a dog flap so could go out whenever she wanted!)

Shaumus has a Bladder of Steel. He tends to wait till we go out and then will wee for ages. To the extent when it runs across the pavement and into the gutter.
