Morning Dogsey daily thread (Thursday).

Morning everyone.
It is very windy out there today and chilly, looks like I might end up with a prancing pony on the end of the lead today huffing and snorting as he does when the wind blows the different smells in.
I should get my bathroom back this afternoon or that' s the plan if it goes to plan. Gorden located a macerator and the plumber is back today between 12pm and 1pm and it takes an hour to fix supposedly. Then the bill for the job Tuesday night and today let alone the £300 we have had to find for the macerator.

Sally I hope you are feeling a bit brighter today.
Helena I hope Dave had a warmer night last night. He will be warmer tonight he is home isn't he ?
Lorraine good news the blood test were clear. Poor mum the only consolation is she doesn't realise that she is talking nonsense its you it affects.
Pat I hope you managed to get the sling on and that the arm is feeling easier today.

I hope everyone else is feeling well and pets too.

Everything crossed that you get your bathroom back this afternoon Lynn - the whole moving thing has been such a nightmare for you (((hugs)))

My alarm clock did not go off this morning - I woke with a start thinking I had overslept but it was just 7.01am so by the time I had gotten into the kitchen Da Booga was only about five minutes late with her meds which is not a problem. The clock should have gone off at five minutes to seven - maybe it needs a new battery?

I did think about going back to bed but decided against it - no doubt I will regret that decision later on today!

Morning Lynn and all,

No frost here last night and it actually doesn't feel very cold outside, or maybe I just hadn't cooled down having just got out of bed I'm hoping to pop round the local boutiques this morning and find a top for a wedding but I might have to cut that short if my OH wants me to collect him from Aldershot.
I only had about 3 hours sleep last night as I just couldn't get comfy .... so a nap will definitely be in order later

Lynn I hope you get your toilet up and running today and Dillon doesn't take you for a drag around neighbouring villages.
Morning Malka ... a lie in? That's unusual for you.
Tang - Good luck with you osteo this morning and I hope she works her magic on you.

Morning Malka thank you.
Maybe the alarm clock needed a lie-in today.
Morning Jenny good luck with the outfit hunting if you get there.
Let Dillon out and it is wet too out there as well as cold and
very breezy.

Morning Lynn, Malka, Jenny and everyone

Good luck with the loo today Lynn, that's going to be an expensive repair by the sounds of it.

Hope you find something nice in those little boutiques today Jen and we will of course want a picture of it won't we if you wouldn't mind. Lovely to chat with you last night, we always have a good old laugh don't we

Well, I overslept when I needed to get up early for that hairdresser's appt, and I'm going to psyche myself up on my walk and decide just how much I will let her take off. I'm going to call on old mum to come with me and stand behind her in spirit as I always do , and you may well laugh, but this usually works when I remember to do this I need some valium or summat

Dave home tonight, hope he wasn't too cold but I'm sure he was, so I must get that thick onesie today from somewhere.

Enjoy your day everyone, I've gotta get moving here.....

Morning Lorraine.
Morning Helena. Good luck with the hairdresser and have I missed something about Zena and letting her off or is it the muddy situation and her slipping that's worrying you ?
I hope it all works out hairdresser wise and Zena wise.

Morning Lynn!
Arm a bit better after a sleep. I am glad the appointment is for late afternoon as it does get worse during the day so better to see her when it's 'killin' me'.
Hope you don't end up spending half as much as you would to get a whole new downstairs loo installed!

Jenny
Sorry you didn't get much kip. When I read this:
I hope you get your toilet up and running today
I just couldn't resist!

Helena
Hope your hairdresser hasn't pulled a sicky. I think I'd be tempted to if I were your hairdresser lol! Trouble is with onesies - they have to be almost removed to enable you to use the loo. And if it's freezing in the room it will seem even colder if you have to take it down. Maybe some warm 2 piece jamas would be better for your bloke? A fleecy lined soft jogging suit? Is he really going to wear a onesie? I won't be seen dead in one!

Everyone else congrats and commiserations whatever is in order. Can't stay too long typing. Should reserve arm for doing a little bit of work. But cannot say I feel in the least bit like doing any.

My day started well when I got an update on a rescue dog that was found in a dreadful state in Cyprus (I am surprised it lived) and was rehomed to the UK. I've never seen such a before and after difference in a dog. So that made me feel good.

And a laugh too as someone here who 'rescues', and finds foster homes and new homes for dogs had taken 'Jane' to her new foster home a few miles from her house nr Nicosia. Jane broke away while there and ran all the way back to the woman's house! It was miles away and she was running behind Jane the whole way! She said she cannot imagine how she knew where her house was! It made me laugh because when she was trying to find Jane a home she was saying she was extremely clever and the sort of dog that should be in movies! lol!
