Irish lawn is a wonderfully comfortable material and the cut of a nightshirt gives you complete freedom of movement. Know I'll get some stick for this but both the nightshirts and my nightcap are monogrammed. The Mem did it for me in gold silk! You cannot beat a little sartorial elegance in the boudoir!

Oh my I now have an image in my head
Have had a very nice and long soak in the bath, then watched live at the London palladium and then Home Fires. Thought it brill, that bully of a husband though- I thank god I've never lived through that.

Aw how wonderful is Connor doing that delicate stitching, Eileen. Is this in between the hod carrying on his break, sitting in the sun sewing away with all his friends joining in

Nowt wrong with a bit of poshness....my gear is monogrammed.....with a laundry marker!!! Lol, i don't have any one to hand stitch my gear with gold thread or their hair lol

Yum yum Griff, how did I miss them, was in there on Friday. Wondering if Connor has a sewing kit on his tool belt so's he won't drop the needles on the way up the ladder with his bricks
