I regularly miss tissues in my washing but for some unknown reason they never disintegrate and cover my clothes... i am lucky
Good on you Sue, start as you mean to go on Lol...poor tumbleweed!
Mandy, have a good time and sorry to hear you are not feeling tip top
Brenda, also sorry you didn't sleep great
Nippy, very relieved you are o.k and great celia has accepted help, my nan refused the thought of a macmillan nurse as she swore blind they bumped you off!...she did have mental health problems... we managed to get her to agree just to meet the lady and she thought she was fab and was glad to have her
Tawneywolf, Lol my mums mum didn't have a phone for years, people used to have to call the next door neighbour and they would go roun to fetch my nan Lol
Morning anyone i have missed, been mad busy, had tog et u dead early as my stupid dad ran out of medication so i have had to bomb to the drs to get his script filled, i was also waiting in for my iron to arrive (i lead such an exciting life) luckily i made it back before the courier came. Bus driver was funny this morning, had an incident the other day, some rude vile woman took up 2 seats and was refusing to move... i made her move and the bus driver remembered me, he told me not to be bullying anyone today Lol, i didn't bully her just insisted she move, she was really rude to a disabled woman before who was sat down before she got on the bus so i just gave her a taste of her own medicine Lol

Morning Moyra and all who follow.

Hope you are feeling better today Moyra.
Hate missing the tissue.
Good news about the help for Celia Nippy Jen.
Remember most of those things you mention June.
Hope all aches and pains feel better as the day goes on.

Meg, Do you ever stop? You sound like my dear Dad, always on the go and when he does sit down for a couple of hours he then starts to feel guilty thinking he should be doing something. He's 83 and apart from two artificial knees he is very active and I think that is what keeps him going.

Back from the river, was just coming round the corner to get up the banking on the way back and Mabs dropped her ball just by the side of some floating debris, and left it there, so I reached out to get it - and - fell in, very slippy due to rain, came home and stripped off, straight into the shower Smelling a lot sweeter now and having some of my lambs tail soup for lunch, off out in a while.

Aaaah! The soothing waters of the Irwell - better buy a lottery ticket quick June, whilst your luck lasts!!!!!!!
I have just posted on the General Election thread about that Nicola Sturgeon, couldn't believe that she came out with that on telly!
Griff - why don't you have a look at one of those mobile things like the ones that Nippy and Moyra have. I think they'd be just the thing to help you get about - better than having to chastise the unpleasant on the bus! lol ! Also you could zoom about with the dogs and have a bit of high speed fun!

TW, i think i am going to buy you a life jacket.... glad you are o.k
new iron is great, mum won't like it but i swear i did a pair of jeans in about 15 seconds and they are fiddly ones too as they are all tiny little patches, at least with this one you don't need to buy expensive flippin filters!

LOL its not Friday 13th is it can't take to Ms Sturgeon, she was more than likely a prefect and/or Head Girl at school, probably a Monitor in Primary school, all in all the type that would have had me stood outside the Headmistresses study more times than you could shake a stick at, as for 'being for women' nah, she's for herself that one. Hope she comes here campaigning (which sadly she won't) because me and ALL 4 girlies would make a point of meeting her to say hello, and I'm sure Mabs would lurve to give her a face wash and Keshi would give her one of her 'speshul' cuddles, where you are flat on your back My tax has gone down again and only paid £22 this month on my works pension so I'm quite happy with the status quo I feel the NHS would be well served if we got rid of all the health tourists and those that bring it on themselves such as addicts for starters, think of the money saved, and THEN they'd have the time and the finances to treat those of us who have paid in all our life.
