Long false pregnancy after spaying

My dog's last season was from the beginning of February. At the end of March she was spayed and 1-2 weeks after that started false pregnancy. Usually her false pregnancies have lasted about 3 weeks but now it is 2 months.
Usually she got also milk but not this time.
At April her false pregnancy was very clear - she got so many toys as possible to her bed, didn't played at all with them, whined and sighed a lot. From May it is better - she playes now and don't whine and sigh so much but from time to time she again whines, brings her toys to her bed and cries when somebody (even herself) beeps with her toy.
Is it normal? When does it end?
I hope that it isn't like that after spaying her hormons stabilized in state of false pregnancy?

Usually vets chose to spay 3 months after the onset of the last season. If spayed during the period when the bitch may be starting a false pregnancy the symptoms can be prolonged,

Take away her squeaky toys or anything else she is 'mothering', give her plenty of exercise, take her out and about to get her mind off things, do training exercises, cut down a bit on the protein & carbohydrate in her food. Jolly her up. Don't be sympathetic.

If you are in any way concerned about her general health consult your vet.

From May she has had periods when she is OK and then she is again mothering her toys.
If in her case last false pregnancy can be prolonged then I don't worry any more so much.
In any case we are moving from city-appartment to our country-summerhome middle of forests and meadows next week and this will be big change for both of us. Hopefully her false pregnancy will end at least then.

Sounds lovely, and new sights, sounds, smells, and adventures should help to take her mind off things
