home insurance

hello all

i just got my buildings insurance renewal in from my mortgage company and its nearly £300 on its own (and i dont have contence, i know i know )

so i am now looking for a new company which will do both and wanted to know which is best, i want a cheep 1 but covers a lot and has to have accidental damage

I use Norwich Union Natalie, cann't say off hand how much I pay but I think its quite abit cheaper than yours and I have contents as well.

We have the Halifax...........£340 a year for both buildings and contents, NO EXCESS and unlimited amounts, it includes accidental damage too

Even after all my moaning about our floor, the job really has been well done, once they got moving it was all done in 4 days!

Im with AbbeyNational- its all paid in with the mortgage fee- havent a clue what it is actually but its certainly not expensive and they pay our quickly too

just got a quote off my mortgage company off line and it is well over £100 less then they want now

lel thought i would let you know them im with Abbey as well, i just got a quote for £350 for both and they want £294.93 for jus tthe building on its own and thats in with my mortgage
