Alfie is currrently in kennels and in urgent need of a foster carer.

I am a handsome red and white boy and 7 years young. I am young at heart and very active for my age. I am looking for a home through no fault of my own and am sadly missing the exercise and attention I so desperately need.



Alfie is housetrained and can be left up to 4 hours per day. He enjoys his toys, especially sticks, footballs and water bottles although can be reluctant to part with these (this is an area that he needs further guidance and training and if you watch his videos below you will see this can be worked on very quickly as he is a quick learner and food motivated)! He has some basic obedienc, his recall is generally okay, he does pull strongly on lead to begin with but settles down with time. He would benefit from someone who has the time to enable further training in these areas. He has not had a lot of interaction with other animals (we feel he would chase a cat) and does not give much of a reaction to other dogs. He would benefit from further socialisation and careful introductions to other dogs.



Alfie currently lives with a young child but does become anxious when he has friends round. We would rehome him with children 15+ who are experienced with dogs. He requires an active staffie experienced home that will provide him with lots of stimulation, exercise and tlc.



He needs to be vaccinated and neutered and this will be undertaken by the rescue.
