New to Dogsey, Chihuahua pup due to come on Saturday!

My name's Ally and I'm bringing home my fawn pup on Saturday.
My daughter has been begging me for a Chihuahua for quite some time now, but I kept putting it off, knowing I would eventually get one though. I've bought things here and there, put a few bucks away for vet costs every pay check, and then finally, about a week ago, I decided we were ready to start looking. I didn't say anything to my daughter about it, fearing it would take some time to find one with the right temperament, etc. However, two days later I was offered an 8 week old female and she's perfect. The home she's coming from has two small children, so she's used to noise and her mother is very friendly, so they're obviously socialized. It was an accidental litter, but they know the father is the other Chihuahua in the neighborhood.

I pick her up on Saturday and we're keeping it a surprise.

We haven't decided yet because I want my daughter's input as well. However, I was able to bring it up because of a show we watching and I think she'll end up being called Isla.
