Heading home today..

Heading back home today with my daughter after spending a few days in Liverpool with my parents & so hoping the journey will be uneventful!!
We came on Sunday & it was a disaster!
We missed the first train from Brighton by 1 minute & were told that we couldn't use our tickets as they were booked for that particular train to Victoria so had to buy more!
Got to London & across to Euston on the tube & nipped outside for a fag & a costa, then had to leg it down the platform for the Liverpool train as the costa queue was huge! Someone was sat in our reserved seats so had a bit of a polite argument getting him to move when I felt like saying "shift your butt mate this is my seat" he did move eventually. Sat opposite a weirdo who had 3 mobile phones going in front of him. Off the train went but then stopped for a whole hour somewhere near Milton Keynes because of signal problems!
Then when we got off the train, the next train is just a short 2 stop journey to my mum's & we got on the wrong train! WE would have ended up in Norwich had we not have got off!
Today I would like a smooth pleasant journy home !!
Can't wait to see hub, Tilly & my new stair carpet

Could only happen to you.
Hope you get home safely on a warm train.

Thanks
We have bought so much stuff that we have to wear jumpers on top of each other as they won't fit in the cases, so we won't be cold
