I always chop an apple up with my girls veg and then it all goes in the blender. They also have strawberries, cherries, bananas, mushrooms, courgettes and I have just mixed up some stir fry mix that was going cheap in Asda with their normal veg.

All I know is it's very, very high in fat content, and I can't eat it for this reason, it would send my cholesterol soaring - if that's any help???

Whole coconuts make excellent toys for tough chewers. Just drill a couple holes to drain the milk, smooth the outside with sandpaper, and "Voi-la" a great toy!
Dawn.

Just thought I would pass this along to you. There is an awesome article on Coconut oil use located at www.whole-dog-journal.com It is featured in the October 2005 issue.

I know it is unsafe to feed desiccated coconut to birds as it swells in their stomach.

I assume from the posts above normal coconut is fine.
