Thank you kindly, Mandy.
I also like it. Not technically brilliant but it captures a moment where they connect.

That dog.........a new thing.
Today I was walking home from the local store with Max. . He spotted my dear wife going in to visit a neighbour. She, the neighbour has a bunch of cats so Max laid patiently outside. Another neighbour saw Max lying there, and came across the way to ask if everything was OK. Very touching that Max laid there waiting for his Momma...

I know I keep saying it but we got very lucky to get such a sweet natured dog. A keeper.

We went to the local convenience store. Cheap breakfast.
Max waits outside by the cash point. so he can nick the notes.........

It was about the time all the yobs gather prior to school or college.
There was an elderly lady a bit uncomfortable with the crowd. Not for the first time, I offered to walk her home. Max and I did. Yet she says she doesn't like big dogs. Max is 35kg - close to 80lbs. Hey ho.

Big, lovely gentle fellow and steals affection. The dear lady got home, thanked me and I thanked Max.
Max is just Max. I wouldn't swap him for the world.

Well done to you and the lovely Max. Hopefully he will teach her that not all big dogs are to be afraid of.

Another furry tail. We were strolling home just before school out time. There was a mum with a buggy and toddler. Not room for all of us so I nudged him on to the grass and told him to wait. He did.
Mum:
"Such a well behaved dog!"
That he is but it so pleasing when others acknowledge it.

From today, a little ankle biter as my sister calls them took a liking to Max. Wanted to eat him. Max, in his self assured way, gave barely a backward glance, and carried on strolling. If they persist they might get a pat on the back That sorts it out.

I think she was more afraid of the boisterous yobs. Max takes it in his stride like they are part of the scenery.

Today I met a guy getting by with a walker. Of course I asked. Spina Bifida.
Don't hear much about that these days.

Max gave the guy a gentle tap on the knee.
Pets as therapy - I'm back.
